Pi Mainnet Migration Roadmap

Pi Mainnet Migration

The Pi Network has an extensive roadmap for its mainnet migration, prioritizing a reliable transition for its vast community of over 12 million pioneers. Unlike simple airdrop systems used by many crypto projects, the migration process focuses on ensuring accuracy, security, and fairness. This approach seeks to protect honest pioneers by filtering out any form of cheating, thus reinforcing the integrity of the network built over six years of complex mining data.

Initial Migrations for Pioneers

The first stage of the Pi Network’s roadmap concentrates on completing migrations for the current queue of pioneers. This phase includes verified base mining rewards, security circle rewards, lockup rewards, and utility apps usage rewards. With this process, the network is demonstrating significant scalability, showcasing its natively built KYC and migration processes that come at no fiat cost to users. By successfully onboarding millions, the network marks a commendable achievement in the crypto realm.

Future Migrations and Ongoing Processes

Following the first migrations, the focus will shift to second migrations that will include referral mining bonuses for team members who completed the KYC process. Eventually, the Pi Network plans to implement ongoing periodic migrations, whether monthly or quarterly, which will also incorporate various bonuses and rewards. It is essential to highlight that discrepancies between the transferable balance and the actual migrated balance are expected, as the UI provides simplified estimates to conserve resources. Therefore, users can trust that their actual migrated amounts will reflect an accurate calculation of their contributions over time.
